Position: Oracle Kubernetes Engineer (Remote)
Location: 100% Remote

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Kubernetes Engineer with hands-on expertise in OKE (Oracle Kubernetes Engine) and OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) to manage, scale, and secure enterprise Kubernetes environments.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

OKE (Oracle Kubernetes Engineer) — managing and maintaining OKE environments in OCI
OKE Cluster Management — creating, managing, and scaling clusters including node pools and worker nodes
Node Pool Management — creating, updating, deleting nodes and monitoring node performance
Pod Management — creating, updating, deleting pods and monitoring pod performance and logs
Deployment Management — creating, updating, rolling back deployments and monitoring performance
Security & Compliance — managing network policies, secrets, and RBAC (Role-Based Access Controls)
Upgrade & Patching — OKE cluster upgrades, version management, and security patching
OCI Integrations — OCIR (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Registry), OCI Monitoring, and Logging services
Tools — OCI Console, OCI CLI, Kubernetes CLI (kubectl), OCI Registry
Monitoring — Prometheus and Grafana for cluster and workload observability

Good to Have (Preferred)

Broader OCI services knowledge — Compute, Networking, Storage
Experience with Helm — Kubernetes package management
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines integrated with OKE
Background in Docker and containerization best practices
Knowledge of Terraform for OCI infrastructure provisioning
Experience with multi-cluster Kubernetes environments
