Position SummaryThe Staff Security Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security measures to protect the organization's digital infrastructure. This position requires deep hands-on expertise with modern security platforms, technologies, and frameworks to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. In parallel, the role encompasses Cloud IAM engineering responsibilities, including the design, development, automation, and testing of identity and access management procedures for role-based access within Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Working closely with Enterprise Information Security, infrastructure teams, and application development partners, this engineer will operate in a highly collaborative, hands-on environment to deliver secure, efficient cloud access. The ideal candidate combines strong practical security knowledge with robust IAM and Google Cloud Platform automation skills to support enterprise-wide security initiatives.
Required Qualifications- 7+ years of prior experience in the related IT/Cloud field
- 5+ years of experience in Google Cloud Platform
- 3+ years of experience with SIEMs such as Wiz, Splunk, Chronicle and SCC
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with common scripting and programming languages such as bash and Python
Preferred Qualifications- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Subject matter expertise on Google cloud security and related API's
- Ability to troubleshoot IAM issues, access levels across a Google Cloud Platform organization
- Understanding of IAM hierarchy in Google Cloud Platform
- A customer service mindset and the ability to find solutions to access related challenges
Education- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:
$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
