Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is for a delivery-focused Project Manager within the Counterparty Credit Risk Technology team. The successful candidate will work on a high-profile application in a critical business area that centrally manages counterparty credit risk and funding risk for all trading portfolios. This role requires a strong background in working within technology teams to deliver projects.
Responsibilities: - Provide direct delivery responsibility and oversight for all projects, recognizing when individual projects may be off track
- Identify risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) and proactively manage/report on them
- Review and/or publish the weekly status report for the program
- Consistently meet with project managers to understand progress and issues across projects and provide support as necessary
- Manage weekly status reporting and prepare materials for presentation to stakeholders
Requirements: - Experience with Project Management methodologies (SDLC, Waterfall, etc)
- Knowledge of counterparty credit risk, global markets, and related products
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira)
Desired skills: - Experience working on a software development team at a large financial institution
- Prior experience with the client's internal tools and processes
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
Pay range: $55.15 - $63.15 per hour
