Senior Software Engineer (Subject Matter Expert Software Developer, Application)
Required skills:
• Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience developing applications using multiple frameworks
• Proficiency in software engineering tools and in software architecture
• Proficiency in full stack development approaches and program languages such as PERN (a cohesive collection of technologies that includes PostgreSQL, Express. js, React, and Node. Js) and infrastructure coding tools such as Terraform.
• Expertise in managing Continuous Integration/Continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and git-based code management.
• Experience integrating observability tools into software engineering efforts.
• Directing system installation and upgrades
• Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle
• Determining system specifications and requirements
• Improving system performance by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures
• Providing information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues
• Years of Experience: 5-10 - bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
