Gen AI / LLM Engineer

Job Title: AI Engineer
Duration: 12+ Months (Potential extension or FTE based on performance)
Work Mode: Fully Remote

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer with strong Python and Generative AI experience to develop AI solutions, build rapid Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and convert successful prototypes into production-ready applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Develop AI applications and rapidly build PoCs.
Implement LLM-based solutions using RAG, vector databases, and AI agents.
Build and integrate APIs, AI pipelines, and MCP tools.
Evaluate AI model performance, improve accuracy, and reduce hallucinations.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of AI applications.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of python development
Minimum of 4 years of experience working on AI projects, with a focus on productizing AI/ML solutions.
Strong Python programming and software development skills.
Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
Knowledge of prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI guardrails.
Experience with APIs, Git, and SQL.
Understanding of AI application deployment and production support.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MCP servers and multi-agent workflows.
MS Azure / MS Fabric experience.
Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring tools.
Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or other AI coding assistants.
