Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to support the migration of SQL Server tables, SSIS packages, and SQL Agent jobs to Teradata and/or Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, ETL modernization, data lineage, reverse engineering, cross-platform SQL conversion, and data validation.
• The candidate must be capable of analyzing complex legacy ETL processes, understanding existing business logic, and migrating critical data and reporting functionality while ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SQL Agent jobs.
• Reverse engineer legacy ETL processes and document end-to-end data flows.
• Identify data dependencies, business rules, risks, and transformation logic.
• Convert SQL and ETL logic from SQL Server/Oracle to Teradata and/or Snowflake.
• Support migration of historical and business-critical data.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality testing.
• Ensure migrated solutions preserve existing business logic and reporting behavior.
• Support architecture reviews, implementation activities, and production cutover.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize SQL queries for target platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams, project leadership, and business stakeholders to ensure successful migration outcomes.
