Lead the design and development of scalable software systems integrating AI/ML capabilities to drive intelligent automation and data-driven decision-making. Oversee end-to-end machine learning workflows, NLP, including data engineering, model development, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategy with business goals, ensuring high performance, reliability, and innovation. Mentor SDET teams in modern software and data practices to deliver impactful solutions.
The contractor will research and explore various ML models across the domains and contribute to the development of automated frameworks. This includes software development for proof-of-concept initiatives in AI/ML, Computer Vision, and other strategic focus areas within CIL.
Description
- Implements, refines, and validates machine learning algorithms for products and applications. - Designs and develops data pipelines consisting of data ingest, data validation, data cleaning, and data monitoring.
- Trains machine learning models, validates the accuracy of the machine learning models once trained, and deploys validated machine learning models into production.
- Designs proof of concept solutions and contributes to studies to support future product or application development.
- Researches, writes, and edits documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, confluence pages, white papers, presentations, test results, technical manuals, formal recommendations, and reports.
- Tests and evaluates solutions. Completes case studies, testing, and reporting.
- Collaborates with teams outside of immediate work group. Represents the work team in providing solutions to technical issues associated with assigned projects.
- Designs proof of concept solutions and contributes to studies to support future product or application development.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, related technical discipline, or related industry experience
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, data mining, and/or statistical analysis tools and how to deploy and monitor machine learning models.
- Strong programming and software development skills and familiarity with Python, Java or Scala.
- Knowledge of data pipeline and cloud technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Docker.
- 3-5 years related experience after Bachelors, or a recent Master's degree desired.
