Sr. Product Manager Loyalty Domain Experience

Location: SFO, CA - Remote

The Opportunity

The client is looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager to drive Loyalty domain across stores and digital experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a background thinking and building next-generation digital technologies for web and mobile.

As part of the Product Management team, you will collaborate with business partners, engineers, product managers, design experts, and clients to define a product roadmap and launch plan - driving all aspects from discovery to launch.

Responsibilities

  • Define a product vision, lead the strategy, roadmap, and day-to-day management of feature work to evolve experiences related to Loyalty - including the Beauty Insider Program, Challenges/Games, Loyalty Partnerships.
  • Define customer experience and business goals for new features and improvements that drive customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Interface with the Marketing department to evaluate, prioritize, and build new features and tools to optimize the customer lifecycle. Partner with Ecommerce and Retail Operations/Production teams to bring experiences to life online and in stores.
  • Gather input from internal business partners and external sources; craft a prioritized, measurable roadmap.
  • Own products from concept to launch: analyze customer data, competitors, market trends, evaluate technologies, develop detailed requirements and feature definitions, and manage the launch and communications.
  • Advocate for your products - articulate customer and business value to all levels of the organization through compelling presentations and prototypes.
  • Champion business teams and stakeholders throughout development; ensure what is delivered meets the original goals and KPIs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and business to drive product launches. Make thoughtful, timely decisions and continuously clear roadblocks.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Product Management for e-commerce, retail, transaction-based, or similar environments - with multiple product launches and roadmap ownership.
  • Prior product experience focused on Loyalty programs is strongly preferred.
  • Curiosity and a drive to find answers through research, analysis, and real-world testing.
  • Expert in agile development processes; proficient with Jira for sprint management, user stories, features, bugs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience using AI solutions for Product Process automation and/or within product solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of core internet technologies, PaaS, APIs, and Web Services.
  • Proven track record developing, testing, and launching both customer-facing features and enabling technologies.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to balance multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong listening and communication skills - verbal and written - with effective presentation skills for executive and large-audience settings.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with business, technical, and design teams in collaborative product design.
  • Strong analytical skills and a drive to experiment; examples of using metrics across the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience thriving in fast-paced, growing environments - results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs, innovate, and multitask.
  • Assertive, direct communication style with the ability to inspire and motivate across the organization. Collaborative, energetic, and hands-on.
  • BA/BS required; MBA a plus. Retail and Loyalty experience preferred.

Key Skills for Success

  • Loyalty Domain Expertise: End-to-end ownership of a Loyalty or rewards program (Beauty Insider-type) is the strongest differentiator for this role.
  • AI in Product: Hands-on use of AI tools in product process automation or embedded within product solutions - essential given Sephora's AI-native direction.
  • Data & Metrics Orientation: Candidates must demonstrate metric-driven decision-making across the full product lifecycle - from discovery through post-launch analysis.
  • Agile / Jira Fluency: Deep familiarity with sprint management, user story writing, and backlog grooming in Jira.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Track record leading diverse teams - engineering, design, and business - through ambiguity to shipped product.
  • Web + Mobile Product Delivery: Proven experience launching customer-facing products across web and mobile at scale.
