Job Details
Title: DB2 LUW DBA
Location: Marysville, OH 100% ONSITE
Duration: 12 Months (with strong possibility of an extension)
Rate: $70 per hour on W2 (cannot do C2C/1099)
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a DB2 LUW DBA in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of DB2 LUW architecture, utilities, and tools.
- Experience with HADR, TSA, QREP and other high availability solutions.
- 5+ years' experience with Cloud Concepts, AWS and other Cloud Technologies, IaaS and PaaS, Cloud Database Platforms (RDS PostgreSQL, AWS DynamoDB, Document DB, MongoDB, Neo4j, Neptune etc.)
- 5+ years' experience working with large database / large scale projects.
- Proficiency with performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with monitoring tools
- Ability to analyze critical information, assess upstream/downstream impact, and formulate broad recommendations.
