Business Finance Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and seasonal Business Finance professional to lead financial planning and analysis while also overseeing the Finance and Accounts function in US. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of financial management, business processes, and operational efficiency to drive sustainable growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will ensure financial integrity, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Finance:

• Planning
• Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting
• Work with the Leadership team on long-term and short-term planning
• Business finance
• Develop and maintain financial models for business scenarios and investment decisions. Develop financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor key financial metrics including revenue, margins, and cost structures.
• Partner with leadership team to align financial goals with operational strategies.
• Review of customer contract and rate rationalisation and get involve in price negotiations from overall project and company profitability point of view.
• Build and run the FP&A process and automate the same
• Work on Cost Optimization and financial excellence
• Lead the due diligence and integration of future assets
• Prepare financial models and relevant data for any future investments or for raising capital
• Reporting
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Compliance
• Work with accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

Finance Operations:

• Oversee/help US onsite accounts person as and when required
• Visiting Bank to mitigate issues if any
• Any other work that may need to do from time to time

Process Improvement & Systems:

• Identify and implement automation and process optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT and SAP teams to enhance financial systems and reporting tools.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems.

Operational Excellence

• Drive operational efficiency across enabling departments, including HR, procurement, supply chain, IT, and facilities.
• Implement and monitor KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead business process transformation initiatives to enhance scalability and agility.
• Lead and monitor Sales commission and variable pay, and suggest improvements if required
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
• Evaluate the company's Insurance, benefits, 401 K, and other contracts for improving the benefits and cost optimization
• Lead and own company automation initiatives

Qualifications

• Overall 15+ years of Finance Experience
• Understanding of US GAAP and India GAAP
• 10+ years of experience of having worked in an IT Services firm
