Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Network Architect to serve as the primary owner of a global hybrid network environment spanning Azure cloud and on premises infrastructure. This highly visible role will lead network architecture, engineering, operational stability, and modernization efforts while supporting a rapidly scaling business.
As a key member of the IT organization, you will design and implement enterprise network solutions, establish standards and documentation, improve reliability, and create the foundation needed to support significant future growth. This position offers the opportunity to build and shape a network environment rather than simply maintain an existing one.
Key Responsibilities
• Own end to end network architecture across Azure and Cisco Meraki environments
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions for a global multi site organization
• Lead network modernization initiatives supporting infrastructure transformation and business growth
• Establish network standards, documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
• Serve as the highest level escalation point for network performance, connectivity, and reliability issues
• Manage and optimize Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, routing, and cloud integration
• Execute network deployments, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to increase efficiency and consistency
Key Requirements
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering and network architecture roles
• Strong hands on experience with Cisco networking and Meraki technologies, including design, configuration, implementation, and support
• Proven expertise with Azure networking, including virtual networks, routing, connectivity, and hybrid cloud integration
• Experience supporting regulated environments such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or other compliance driven industries
• Deep understanding of routing, switching, WAN technologies, firewalls, and enterprise networking principles
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise networks from strategy through execution
• Automation experience using tools such as Python, Terraform, or Ansible is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and lead through influence
