Entry Level Business Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with business and technical teams to understand requirements, analyze business processes, prepare documentation, and support data-driven decision-making.

This position is designed for an entry-level candidate who is eager to build a career in business analysis. Candidates with academic projects, internships, coursework, or hands-on experience in business analysis, data analysis, or information systems are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and process documentation.

• Work closely with business users, developers, QA teams, and project managers.

• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases.

• Assist with data analysis and prepare reports using Excel and SQL.

• Participate in requirement-gathering meetings and project discussions.

• Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Track requirements, issues, and project deliverables.

• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Maintain project documentation and provide ongoing status updates.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Basic knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis.

• Understanding of software development and project life cycles.

• Knowledge of requirements gathering and business process analysis.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project-management tools.

• Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience creating process flow diagrams using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.

• Familiarity with dashboards or reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
