We are seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst III to join our dynamic IT - Global Networking team in Houston. What You Will Do:

  • Serve as an escalation point for network and application performance issues, providing expert support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage and support network monitoring and configuration management tools, maintaining optimal network health.
  • Deliver technical support for field networks, including industrial switches, routers, and wireless bridges, ensuring reliable communication across operations.
  • Use Client's service portal to handle service requests, outages, and change management, maintaining smooth scheduling and execution.
  • Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge technologies aligned with industry best practices.
  • Innovatively leverage existing applications and emerging technologies to optimize network performance.
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities during scheduled weekends, minimizing downtime.
  • Communicate effectively with end users and international teams to resolve issues and facilitate project implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in network design, deployment, and troubleshooting within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Palo Alto products, including Panorama, PA NextGen Firewalls, and Prisma.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
  • Skilled in network management tools like SolarWinds Network Management suite, Wireshark, and packet-level analysis.
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), firewall technologies, IPSEC/SSL VPNs, DMVPN, and spanning tree configurations.
  • Proven expertise with Cisco Nexus Data Center architecture and Cisco ISE/NAC platforms.
  • Familiarity with management protocols such as SNMP, NetFlow, and IP SLA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical issues clearly.
  • Demonstrated project management ability and experience interfacing with customers and technical teams worldwide.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience working within the Oil and Gas industry, particularly with field support technicians.
  • Knowledge of cloud security and automation tools.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in enterprise network support and troubleshooting.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to work scheduled hours Monday through Thursday (7:30 am - 5:30 pm) and half-day Friday remotely.
  • Willingness to support scheduled weekend maintenance activities.
  • Relevant industry certifications are a plus.
