Job Details

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software across the full technology stack

Build and maintain APIs, microservices, backend services, and data pipelines

Contribute to system architecture, infrastructure, and database design decisions

Partner closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams

Review code and promote engineering best practices across the organization

Support machine learning initiatives through experimentation, testing, and model iteration

Help shape the future direction of the engineering organization through technical leadership and mentorship

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience

Strong full-stack development experience

Experience building and supporting distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based applications

Hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment practices

Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Experience with or willingness to work extensively in technologies such as Python, Django, Node.js, JavaScript frameworks, AWS, relational databases, and event-driven architectures

AI-Assisted Development Requirements

This organization embraces AI as a core part of the software development lifecycle. Engineers are expected to leverage modern AI coding tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, enhance testing, and increase overall productivity.

The ideal candidate already uses tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI-powered development platforms on a daily basis. Experience using Claude specifically for code generation, refactoring, debugging, architecture discussions, documentation, test creation, and problem solving is highly valued.

Candidates who view AI as an essential engineering partner rather than an occasional experiment will be most successful in this environment. Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development are considered critical attributes for this role.
