Technical Sales Representative, Steel Ingot and Billet

Location: New Castle, PA
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: 25% to 30%, including some international
Pay: $90,000 to $110,000 per year

Must-Haves

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Solid technical foundation with the ability to translate complex processes into customer solutions
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Valid driver\'s license and willingness to travel 25% to 30%, including internationally

What You\'ll Do

Partner with customers to recommend the right technical solutions
Support two core business units and contribute to sales across other divisions
Review inquiries, set pricing, and develop process plans for steel ingot and billet production
Serve as a technical resource on steelmaking and downstream processes
Manage orders, scheduling, deliveries, WIP, and inventory
Track product and order profitability
Investigate customer claims with Metallurgy and drive resolution
Improve sales and customer service processes
Back up the Director of Sales when needed

Nice-to-Haves

Degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science
3 to 5 years of sales or marketing experience in the steel or metals industry
Steel mill or forging experience

Compensation and Benefits

$90,000 to $110,000 per year
Exposure to a wide customer base and multiple business units
