Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Enterprise BFSI client
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Standard working hours
About the Role:
This Java Developer will be on the Finance Technology team at the client. The team supports a few different applications in the subledger space of finance technology. They are currently building out a new application end to end and need this java developer to help out with hands on coding work for it. They should be more backend focused with strong experience in system to system integrations work. They need to understand how their application connects to data and pulls it correctly. Specifically, connections experience with Spark, Hadoop, or Oracle would be best here as that is the tech stack they are working in.

What We re Looking For:
- 7 years of Java Development experience
- End to end application development
- Hadoop
- Spark
Qualification:
- Need at least 5 years of US physical working experience/or 5 years of US working experience after masters.
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65 $67 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
