Position: Senior T&E / SAP Concur BSA & Engineer

Location: Remote

Experience: 8+ Years

This version is intentionally broad enough to capture both the Concur Administrator and BSA/Engineer responsibilities, while making 8+ years, SAP Concur/T&E, technical integrations, and business analysis the core requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·         Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP Concur / Travel & Expense (T&E) applications and processes.

·         Administer, configure, and support Concur Expense and Travel environments.

·         Manage users, roles, permissions, expense policies, workflows, approval rules, and organizational configurations.

·         Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance, Accounting, Travel, Procurement, HR, and other stakeholders.

·         Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

·         Analyze existing T&E processes and recommend improvements, automation, and system enhancements.

·         Design, support, and troubleshoot integrations between Concur and enterprise systems such as ERP, HR, payroll, and financial platforms.

·         Work with APIs, web services, SFTP, file-based interfaces, and other integration technologies.

·         Support corporate card feeds, expense transactions, reconciliation, and related interfaces.

·         Perform data analysis and troubleshooting using SQL and other data-analysis tools.

·         Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution with technical teams and vendors.

·         Develop functional specifications, technical documentation, process flows, data mappings, and interface specifications.

·         Create and execute test plans, test cases, integration testing, regression testing, and support UAT.

·         Support Concur releases, upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and new functionality.

·         Analyze release impacts and coordinate required testing and implementation activities.

·         Monitor integrations and proactively identify data-quality, interface, and processing issues.

·         Support reporting, audit, compliance, expense reconciliation, and data-validation activities.

·         Work closely with developers and engineering teams to design and implement technical solutions.

·         Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and problem-management activities.

·         Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery.

·         Prepare user stories and acceptance criteria where applicable.

·         Maintain application, integration, and operational documentation.

·         Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to other team members.

Required Qualifications

·         8+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Application Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related technology role.

·         Strong hands-on experience with SAP Concur / Concur T&E.

·         Strong understanding of Travel & Expense business processes.

·         Experience with Concur Expense administration and configuration.

·         Experience with Concur Travel and related functionality.

·         Strong experience with enterprise application integrations.

·         Experience with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, SFTP, and file-based integrations.

·         Strong SQL and data-analysis skills.

·         Experience with requirements gathering, functional analysis, and technical solution design.

·         Experience developing functional and technical specifications.

·         Strong production-support and troubleshooting experience.

·         Experience with system integration, testing, UAT, and release management.

·         Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience integrating SAP Concur with SAP, Oracle, Workday, or other ERP/HR systems.

·         Experience with corporate card integrations and reconciliation.

·         Experience with Concur APIs and integration platforms.

·         Knowledge of Concur reporting and analytics.

·         Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise tools.

·         Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

·         Experience supporting large enterprise T&E environments.

·         Knowledge of financial systems, accounting processes, and expense-management controls.

Education

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
