About This Opportunity

Komline is seeking an Engineering Manager with expertise in Civil and Structural Engineering to lead engineering and design activities supporting stormwater treatment devices and engineered systems. This role provides leadership to CAD Designers and cross-functional teams while overseeing engineering calculations, technical designs, product documentation, and project execution. The Engineering Manager partners closely with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Research & Development to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements and support operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering leadership to CAD Designers and cross-functional teams supporting customer projects and manufacturing operations
  • Develop engineering calculations, technical designs, and supporting documentation for stormwater treatment devices and engineered systems
  • Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and submittal packages for customer review and manufacturing.
  • Support specification development and manufacturing efforts by providing technical guidance and resolving engineering-related issues
  • Partner with Quality Control to ensure products meet engineering requirements and company quality standards
  • Lead and support product improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, R&D, and other stakeholders to support projects from proposal through production
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • Demonstrated engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineered products environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable design codes
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, engineers, designers, manufacturing personnel, and project teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines

Preferred:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within an established timeframe
  • Experience with structural design, industrial equipment, or stormwater treatment products
  • Experience supporting engineered-to-order products through design, manufacturing, and customer project execution
