Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Camunda Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, workflow automation, and backend integration. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience developing BPMN workflows in Camunda, integrating microservices, and managing endtoend process orchestration. This role requires strong technical depth and the ability to collaborate with technical, business, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Camunda Workflow Development

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Camunda BPMN process applications using Spring Boot.
  • Implement External Tasks, Java Delegates, Execution Listeners, Task Listeners.
  • Handle long-running workflows, process optimizations, retries, and incident management.
  • Configure and manage Camunda Cockpit, Tasklist, and Admin modules.

Backend Integration

  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
  • Integrate Camunda workflows with external systems such as:
    • REST
    • SOAP
    • MQ messaging
    • Kafka / event streaming systems
  • Implement authentication & authorization using OAuth2, JWT, or LDAP.

Database & Messaging

  • Work with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Manage data persistence, transactions, and performance optimization.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Work with CI/CD pipelines, automated build/deployment tools.
  • Follow Agile methodologies, participate in sprints, story grooming, and daily standups.

General Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business teams, architects, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Provide technical guidance, debugging expertise, and performance tuning.
  • Support workflows in the Credit Card industry (preferred experience).
  • Ensure secure development practices and highquality code delivery.

Required Skills

  • 6-8 years of software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Camunda BPM
    • Spring Boot & RESTful API development
    • Oracle / SQL Server / NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of event-driven/messaging systems (MQ, Kafka).
  • Experience with transactions, retries, error handling, and workflow incident resolution.
  • Strong debugging, problemsolving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile & CI/CD practices.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Credit Card / Financial services domain.
  • Knowledge of:
    • OAuth2, JWT, LDAP
    • Event streaming patterns
    • Microservices integration
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and monitoring frameworks.
