  • Workflow Modernization & Ontology Standardization: Provides technical recommendations and implements code/scripts to modernize simulation workflows. Standardizes modeling ontologies to ensure complete data consistency across the directorate.
  • Reporting & Documentation Support: Actively drafts technical content for the monthly MBSE Performance and Feasibility Assessment Report. Documents data standards, system behaviors, and trade studies.
  • Agile Integration Collaboration: Works with Agile developers, product owners, and data scientists within standard JIRA/Confluence sprint cycles to ensure that physical system properties, performance envelopes, and intelligence characteristics map properly to software backlogs.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience OR a Master's degree and 8 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience defining systems boundaries, tracking interface definitions, and modeling physical/functional architectures using SysML toolsets with minimal oversight. Strong background deploying modern simulation packages.
  • Clearance & Compliance: Active TS/SCI security clearance for 100% on-site support at Wright-Patterson AFB. Experience executing engineering tasks under strict DoD/IC software guide standards.

Desired:
  • NASIC Experience: NASIC experience highly desired, not mandatory.
