Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calibrate, maintain, inspect, and certify gauges and measurement equipment
  • Perform precise calibration of micrometers, indicators, and inspection tools
  • Verify that measuring instruments meet strict quality requirements
  • Maintain complete and accurate calibration records and documentation
  • Ensure equipment remains compliant with applicable quality standards
  • Support production by confirming the accuracy of tools used on the floor
  • Investigate measurement discrepancies and determine appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, engineers, and quality leadership
  • Monitor calibration schedules and ensure equipment is serviced on time
  • Help protect product quality through disciplined metrology practices

REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional experience with industrial gauge calibration
  • Strong knowledge of metrology and precision measurement principles
  • Experience calibrating gauges, micrometers, and inspection equipment
  • Understanding of quality control processes and calibration documentation
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and measurement requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly precise manufacturing environment
  • Availability to work onsite in Brattleboro, Vermont

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience supporting a CNC machining environment
  • Familiarity with precision machined components and complex assemblies
  • Exposure to highly regulated manufacturing quality systems
  • Experience working with demanding dimensional tolerances
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality expectations
