Job DetailsRESPONSIBILITIES
- Calibrate, maintain, inspect, and certify gauges and measurement equipment
- Perform precise calibration of micrometers, indicators, and inspection tools
- Verify that measuring instruments meet strict quality requirements
- Maintain complete and accurate calibration records and documentation
- Ensure equipment remains compliant with applicable quality standards
- Support production by confirming the accuracy of tools used on the floor
- Investigate measurement discrepancies and determine appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, engineers, and quality leadership
- Monitor calibration schedules and ensure equipment is serviced on time
- Help protect product quality through disciplined metrology practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Professional experience with industrial gauge calibration
- Strong knowledge of metrology and precision measurement principles
- Experience calibrating gauges, micrometers, and inspection equipment
- Understanding of quality control processes and calibration documentation
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and measurement requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a highly precise manufacturing environment
- Availability to work onsite in Brattleboro, Vermont
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience supporting a CNC machining environment
- Familiarity with precision machined components and complex assemblies
- Exposure to highly regulated manufacturing quality systems
- Experience working with demanding dimensional tolerances
- Familiarity with aerospace quality expectations
