Technical Specialist 2 (Onsite)
Primary Location: Franklin, Ohio

Will work onsite in Franklin or Madison County.

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Technical Specialist 2 for our premier client in Franklin, Ohio.

WHAT YOULL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications

Highly desired: CISP Certification.

Education and Experience

Highly desired: 4 years college degree.
Experience with Network Security and threat detection: 10 years.
Experience with incident response and vulnerability management: 10 years.
Experience administering Qualys: 10 years.
Experience with remediation documentation and patch management processes: 10 years.

WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of DRC data, systems, and networks.
Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
Evaluating the organizations security needs and establishing best practices and standards accordingly.
Taking appropriate security measures to ensure that DRCs infrastructure and existing data are kept safe.
Analyze scan results, validate findings, and prioritize remediation based on risk and exploitability.
Partner with IT team and application teams to coordinate remediation and verify fixes.
Develop vulnerability metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reports.
Conducting testing and scans to identify any vulnerabilities in the network and system.
Tune scans and reduce false positives to improve data accuracy.
Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability scans across networks, servers and endpoints.
