Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic product initiatives within the Apple Ads ecosystem, with a focus on News advertising products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience driving large-scale, cross-functional engineering programs while partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams.

This role requires strong program management expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Experience in advertising platforms, digital media, campaign management, or large-scale product development is highly preferred.



Experience

  • 8+ Years of Engineering Program Management, Technical Program Management, or Product Program Management experience.



Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end planning and execution of Apple Ads product initiatives.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineering teams, Engineering Program Managers (EPMs), and GTM stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • Manage portfolio-level planning, roadmap governance, and project intake processes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional dependencies across multiple engineering teams.
  • Track milestones, risks, blockers, and critical path activities.
  • Facilitate roadmap reviews, planning sessions, and execution tracking meetings.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, dashboards, and decision documents.
  • Drive program governance and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to define project scope, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Improve execution processes, documentation standards, and delivery practices.
  • Manage competing priorities while ensuring timely execution.
  • Identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation strategies.
  • Support release planning and cross-functional launch readiness.
  • Maintain project documentation using standard program management tools.
  • Foster collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of Engineering Program Management or Technical Program Management experience.
  • Proven success managing complex, cross-functional engineering programs.
  • Experience coordinating Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in roadmap planning and dependency management.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and status reports.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
