Job Description

Program & Governance Management
  • Own and maintain the Data & AI Policy roadmap, including deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and implementation timelines.
  • Coordinate governance initiatives across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Security, Technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage governance forums, working groups, action items, risks, issues, decisions, audit findings, and remediation commitments.
  • Monitor progress against commitments and drive accountability to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

Policy, Standards & Playbook Support
  • Coordinate the review, approval, publication, and maintenance of Data & AI governance artifacts, including policies, standards, playbooks, procedures, FAQs, and implementation guidance.
  • Develop and maintain operational playbooks that translate governance requirements into practical and scalable business processes.
  • Contribute to the drafting, editing, and maintenance of policies, standards, governance documentation, stakeholder communications, and training materials.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews and feedback cycles across cross-functional teams.

Knowledge Management & AI Enablement
  • Own the organization, structure, and maintenance of the team's documentation repositories and governance knowledge assets.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized source of truth for Data & AI Governance content, ensuring documentation is current, searchable, and consistently maintained.
  • Define and implement standards for information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, document lifecycle management, and content governance.
  • Ensure governance content is optimized for AI-powered search, retrieval, knowledge management, and emerging agent-enabled capabilities.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and agent-based workflows to improve governance operations, content generation, and process efficiency.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, governance, risk, compliance, audit, policy management, knowledge management, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Visa's standard Manager/Consultant-level qualifications generally require 5+ years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience coordinating complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience developing presentations, process documentation, procedures, or operational materials.
  • Experience supporting governance, risk, compliance, audit, regulatory, or policy-related programs.
  • Experience developing or maintaining policies, standards, procedures, playbooks, or other governance artifacts.
  • Experience managing audit findings, remediation activities, action plans, or governance commitments.
  • Experience establishing or maintaining knowledge repositories, document management processes, or content governance practices.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance, AI Governance, Privacy, Information Governance, or Risk Management concepts.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, automation, workflow orchestration, or agent-based solutions to improve business processes.
  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification preferred but not required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
