Job Title: Oracle CPQ Architect

Duration: 2-3 weeks (Part-time)

Location: Remote

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Architect to lead the assessment, design, and management of Oracle CPQ solutions. This role will be responsible for evaluating existing CPQ implementations, defining target-state architecture, and guiding cross-functional teams through optimization, enhancements, and ongoing governance. The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle CPQ expertise, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable CPQ architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment & Strategy

• Conduct end-to-end assessments of existing Oracle CPQ implementations, configurations, and integrations

• Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities across pricing, configuration, approvals, and workflows

• Define target-state CPQ architecture aligned with business, sales, and IT objectives

• Provide recommendations on best practices, scalability, performance, and maintainability

Architecture & Design

• Design and oversee Oracle CPQ solution architecture, including:

  • Product configuration models

  • Pricing and discounting rules

  • Approval workflows

  • Quote document generation

• Ensure alignment with Oracle best practices and enterprise standards

• Lead solution design reviews and provide architectural sign-off

Integration & Data Management

• Architect and manage integrations between Oracle CPQ and:

  • Oracle Sales Cloud / Oracle Fusion

  • ERP systems (Order Management, Pricing, Billing)

  • Third-party systems (CRM, finance, custom apps)

• Oversee data migration, master data alignment, and data quality controls
