Summary

One of the leading global technology services organizations is supporting a large-scale modernization initiative with a public sector client and is expanding their team. This effort is focused on improving internal systems, streamlining workflows, and enhancing how business requirements are gathered and translated into actionable deliverables.

They are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join the team in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. This individual will work closely with stakeholders, product teams, and technical resources to gather requirements, develop user stories, and support delivery across ongoing initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, forward-thinking, and comfortable leveraging modern tools - including AI - to improve how requirements are documented and translated from discussions into clear, actionable work items.

This position requires candidates to be able to work onsite in Rocky Mount, NC on a hybrid basis.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement, etc.)
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including product, development, and QA
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate discussions and meetings into clear, structured documentation
  • Experience supporting UAT and validating requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience working with or supporting public sector or government clients
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to assist with documentation or workflow efficiency
  • Exposure to system or process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience supporting modernization or transformation efforts
