Job Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong technical HRIS knowledge and business analysis expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in data validation, testing, requirements traceability, training, and system support.
This project involves implementing Workday HCM for approximately 70,000 state employees, replacing PeopleSoft HCM. The resource will support Talent (Recruiting and Performance), Compensation, Benefits, and Core HR functions.
While the intent may be long-term, the position is subject to annual budget approvals.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
Review and resolve data conversion issues mapping legacy systems to Workday
Apply validation techniques to ensure successful data migration
Develop test plans and test scripts; conduct system testing
Provide technical support for maintenance and system enhancements
Create user guides and supporting documentation
Provide user training and system support
Act as liaison between business units and technical teams
🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience implementing and/or administering HRIS
Direct experience in large-scale data conversion
Strong data analysis skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
SQL experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create detailed documentation and deliverables
🔹 Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing or supporting Workday HCM
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM
Public sector experience
