The SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end development and implementation of an S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement solution design that integrates Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Accounts Payable. Works with executive stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable business processes for strategic sourcing, contract management, and automated invoice processing. This role will be involved in the build, testing, and ongoing optimization of the P2P process capability. They will work with complex business and system analysis, design, and testing.
Key responsibilities:- Sourcing, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Accounts Payable
- S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement architecture, including the integration of Materials Management (MM) with the Universal Journal (ACDOCA)
- Implementation of SAP P2P solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements for federal procurement regulations, Prompt Payment Act compliance, and internal controls over acquisitions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, specifically focusing on the transition from legacy procurement systems to S/4HANA Fiori-based purchasing and automated workflows
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, driving the adoption of SAP Fiori for real-time spend analytics, supplier evaluation, and mobile approval capabilities
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks related to vendor master data migration, complex pricing schemas, and integration with federal reporting systems
- Ensure adherence to Accenture delivery methodology, promoting efficient and effective project delivery through standardized templates, stage-gate reviews, etc.
- Ensure critical integration points between P2P and other streams-specifically Budget to Report (B2R) for commitment/obligation tracking and Plan to Stock (P2S) for material availability-are seamless
- May be responsible for mentoring and developing team members, promoting skill growth in advanced areas like Ariba Integration, Flexible Workflows, Machine Learning for Invoice Matching, and Central Procurement where applicable
Here's what you need:- 2+ years of experience in SAP implementation, demonstrating a deep functional and management understanding of SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement (MM) and Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
- Knowledge of delivery methodologies, specifically applying Agile/Scrum within an SAP environment
- Ability to align SAP P2P project goals with broader business objectives, such as reducing "maverick" spend, improving supplier performance, or optimizing working capital
Nice to have:- Leadership skills, with a track record of successfully leading large-scale implementations
- Proficiency in project planning and resource management, including the ability to manage team utilization, project budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Bachelor's degree in a related field

- Willingness to travel up to 25%

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
