SAP ABAP Lead/Architect

Role: SAP S/4 Technical Lead
Remote in Canada with minimal travel during go live

Pay rate: CAD 90/Hour - CAD 100/Hour

Required skills :

• Strong SAP S/4 ABAP, CPI, CALM, BTP experience


• End-to-end SAP S/4 implementation experience


• Leadership : Must have led teams in the past


• Security and basis knowledge


• Food industry experience is nice-to-have


• French speaking candidates will be highly prioritized

• Lead the technical design, development, integration, deployment, and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions.


• Provide technical oversight across ABAP development, SAP CPI integrations, EWM, TM, SAP Basis, and SAP Security.


• Translate business and functional requirements into practical, maintainable technical solution designs.


• Establish and enforce development standards, architecture principles, code-quality practices, and documentation requirements.


• Govern technical changes across the SAP landscape, including enhancements, interfaces, custom developments, releases, upgrades, and migrations.


• Identify technical risks, dependencies, capacity constraints, and performance issues; define mitigation plans.


• Partner with functional leads, enterprise architecture, business stakeholders, and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.


• Oversee incident resolution, root-cause analysis, problem management, and continuous service improvement.
