Job Details

Position Overview
As a Water/Wastewater Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment facilities, pump stations, and distribution/collection systems. This role involves close collaboration with senior engineers, direct client interaction, and contributions to operations and maintenance planning for both municipal and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design water distribution and wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities
Perform hydraulic modeling, calculations, and pump sizing
Develop plans, specifications, permitting documents, technical reports, and cost estimates
Participate in client meetings and support ongoing relationship management with municipal and private clients
Coordinate and support multi-discipline and regional project execution
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff
Incorporate emerging technologies and industry best practices into project delivery
Support operations and maintenance planning for water and wastewater systems

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in water/wastewater engineering, including design and O&M exposure for treatment facilities and pump stations
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related ABET-accredited Engineering program
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (P.E.) required; ability to obtain within state inside of 6 months of hire
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing abilities
• Additional: Willingness to travel as project needs require
