Job Title: .NET Architect – AWS & Financial Domain
Location: Fort Mill, SC (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced .NET Architect with strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies and the Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and modern cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET technologies
Provide technical leadership and guide development teams on architecture and design decisions
Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services
Develop microservices-based architectures and API-driven systems
Ensure applications comply with financial industry standards for security, performance, and compliance
Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization
Implement CI/CD pipelines and promote DevOps best practices
Mentor developers and enhance overall engineering capabilities

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of experience in software development using .NET technologies
Strong expertise in:

.NET Core / .NET Framework
C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including:

EC2, S3, Lambda
API Gateway
RDS / DynamoDB
CloudFormation / Terraform

Experience in Microservices Architecture and RESTful API design
Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and distributed systems
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Hands-on experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
Strong understanding of security and compliance in financial systems
Prior experience in Financial Services / Banking / Capital Markets domain

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) preferred
