We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead UX design operations and program management initiatives within a large digital product organization. This role focuses on driving cross-functional collaboration, optimizing processes, and ensuring timely delivery of UX initiatives across product development lifecycles.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing UX programs, design operations, and cross-functional teams while implementing scalable processes and frameworks that improve delivery and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead design operations, including intake management, backlog prioritization, and workflow optimization.
Partner with design managers and leadership on resource planning, prioritization, and goal tracking.
Drive review cadences, project updates, and delivery milestones across the product lifecycle.
Develop and document standard frameworks, processes, and best practices for design teams.
Establish scalable workflows that support multiple concurrent projects.
Build and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and project tracking systems for transparency.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across design, product, engineering, and research teams.
Support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and training initiatives for team members.
Communicate updates and manage expectations with key stakeholders and leadership.
Identify risks, escalate issues proactively, and balance business needs with customer experience goals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
10+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, preferably within UX, Product Design, or Digital Product teams.
Proven experience managing large cross-functional initiatives across the full product lifecycle.
Strong experience with UX program management and research integration.
Hands-on experience with tools such as:
Figma
Azure DevOps
Confluence
Aha!
Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
