We’re looking for a Senior Software Configuration / Release Engineer to design, automate, and maintain cloud configuration, release, and infrastructure management across AWS environments. This role plays a key part in delivering secure, compliant, and highly available statewide services.

🔧 What you’ll do:

• Design and automate AWS cloud configurations using Terraform (IaC)

• Manage multi-environment setups (Dev/Test/Stage/Prod)

• Support CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy & CodePipeline

• Implement and manage backup, patching, and compliance workflows

• Handle SSL/TLS certificate management across AWS services

• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams

• Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance

✅ What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of configuration management experience

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ACM)

• Deep expertise in Terraform & Infrastructure as Code

• Experience with cloud backup, patching, and security best practices

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

⭐ Nice to have:

• Python / Bash / PowerShell scripting

• AWS or Terraform certifications

• Experience in state or local government environments

• Agile / project management exposure
