Role: Playwright Automation Lead / Sr. Lead

Location: Dublin, CA
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week in office – Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
Contract Duration: 6 Months

• Lead: 8+ Years

• Sr. Lead: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation Framework Design

• Design and implement a scalable automation framework using Playwright.

• Follow best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), reusable utilities, and modular architecture.

2. Test Automation Development

• Develop, maintain, and optimize UI and API automation scripts.

• Ensure strong test coverage across regression, smoke, and end-to-end scenarios.

3. CI/CD Pipeline Integration

• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

• Enable parallel execution to achieve faster feedback cycles.

4. Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and mentor automation engineers.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and framework guidelines.

5. Test Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with QA, developers, and product owners to define automation strategy and scope.

• Identify and prioritize test cases for automation during sprint planning.

6. Execution Monitoring & Defect Management

• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and log defects with clear reproduction steps.

• Ensure stability and reliability of automation suites.

7. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Track KPIs such as test coverage, execution time, and flakiness rate.

• Continuously improve framework performance, stability, and scalability.
