Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Architect to join our team. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in designing and implementing a modern SharePoint-based document management platform, supporting secure and scalable information storage. This position combines strategic planning with hands-on implementation, offering the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide the migration of legacy systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and configure SharePoint environments, including sites, libraries, workflows, and security settings, to meet organizational needs.
Develop a hybrid SharePoint platform that integrates multiple systems, ensuring seamless functionality and scalability.
Lead the migration of legacy data from AS400/DB2 systems into the new SharePoint environment.
Implement metadata structures, term stores, and other organizational features to optimize system usability.
Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies throughout the development process.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide expert technical guidance.
Manage and mentor team members, ensuring project goals are met efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during platform development and migration.
Provide recommendations for future enhancements, including potential integration with Power Platform tools.
Support ongoing optimization of the SharePoint system to address evolving business needs.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in configuring SharePoint sites, libraries, workflows, and security settings.
Proven expertise in SharePoint migration and hybrid system integration.
Strong understanding of metadata management, term stores, and document organization within SharePoint.
Ability to balance strategic architecture planning with hands-on implementation.
Familiarity with AS400 or DB2 systems and their integration with SharePoint.
Knowledge of Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps is a plus.
Experience with custom development using technologies like React and TypeScript is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
