Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer with 2 4 years of experience to support software development, API integration, database activities, testing, and DevOps tracking for telecom and enterprise applications. The role will work closely with internal engineering teams and external vendors, with a particular focus on 5G eSIM management and system integrations.



Monday to Friday, 1st shift. 8 am to 5 pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, test, and support REST APIs and integrations with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Create technical requirements, user stories, and track project progress using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Coordinate and execute API testing for 5G eSIM management solutions.
  • Work with DevOps, backend systems, onboard software, and dealer portal teams.
  • Schedule and conduct test sessions with external vendors and global engineering teams, including teams in India.
  • Modify and maintain existing databases and database management systems.
  • Write logical and physical database specifications and support database-related development activities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define scope, requirements, timelines, and technical limitations.
  • Review project requests and assist with estimating development effort, time, and cost.
  • Troubleshoot software/system issues and support implementation of system changes.
  • Participate in project status meetings and provide regular updates through DevOps.
  • Help define processes to utilize new eSIM capabilities and enable additional customer-facing functionality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Alternative qualifications may include:

  • Associate's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree; entry level candidates may also be considered.
  • Typically 2 4 years of professional software development experience; relevant internships may count toward experience.

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience writing, implementing, testing, or consuming REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, including user stories and progress tracking.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic and general software development tools.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Basic troubleshooting and system-change implementation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the Comprion test system.
  • Exposure to telecom, wireless, 5G, SIM/eSIM, or connected-device environments is a plus.
