Summary

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with networking knowledge and a strong interest in network automation. This role is focused on understanding network requirements, manually validating those requirements on network devices, identifying the right solution approach, creating user stories, and validating completed stories against the expected network behavior.
The ideal candidate will have foundational networking knowledge, such as CCNA-level understanding or equivalent experience, and be comfortable accessing nokia routers to review configurations, verify expected behavior, and confirm that automated solutions are working as designed.
Key Responsibilities
 • Understand technical network requirements related to automation use cases.
 • Review and analyze network device behavior, configurations, and expected outcomes.
 • Access routers to manually validate requirements.
 • Verify existing network configurations and identify what changes or validations are needed.
 • Work with technical teams to define the solution approach for automating network changes or validations.
 • Translate network requirements and solution details into clear user stories.
 • Define detailed acceptance criteria for each user story.
 • Ensure backlog items are clear, technically accurate, and ready for development.
 • Validate completed stories by testing outputs and behavior directly on network equipment.
 • Confirm that each feature or story works as designed and meets the defined acceptance criteria.
 • Review automated results against manual validation performed on network devices.
 • Support troubleshooting and analysis of production issues identified during sprints.
 • Continuously improve story quality, acceptance criteria, and validation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
 • CCNA certification or similar networking certification.
 • Experience working in telecommunications, network operations, or network automation environments.
 • Familiarity with nokia routers, network configuration, and command-line validation.
 • Experience using tools such as Jira, NSO , or similar backlog management platforms.
 • Exposure to network automation, configuration validation, or service provisioning workflows.
 • Understanding of production support processes and sprint-based delivery models.
