Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Consultant to lead and oversee complex IT projects in Jacksonville, Florida. This role requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and exceptional organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing cross-functional teams and using advanced project management tools.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage IT projects using Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to track progress and allocate resources effectively.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project goals, define scope, and address any challenges during execution.
Facilitate regular team meetings and ensure alignment across all departments involved in the project.
Utilize Atlassian tools, such as Jira, for project tracking and issue resolution.
Monitor project performance and report on progress to senior leadership.
Implement best practices in project management to optimize processes and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project objectives.
Mentor and guide team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in IT project management with a focus on Agile Scrum methodologies.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project tracking and management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage stakeholders and team members.
Demonstrated ability to develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to address challenges during project execution.
