About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10
Department Overview Platform solutions include post-trade securities and corporate actions processing solutions providing single platform trade flow management and custody and investment accounting solution across business line and geographies. Also, providing end-to-end automation of corporate actions and income processing, from announcement capture and validation, to complete downstream processing. Other supporting solutions include web-based self-service window that enables front-office, middle-office and end-customer users to seamlessly interact with their post-trade environment.
A self-service business analytics application sitting on top of these, that enables operations to seamlessly interact with data.
From the reference data side, there is Managed Corporate Actions service which is a best-in-class centralized source of validated corporate action announcements for nearly three million equities, fixed income, and structured finance securities across global markets. MCA services customers as a single source that streamlines operations for the collection, validation and dissemination of corporate actions. It also provides unlimited access to corporate action data and allows customers to view full details in real time, including event-level data, dates, options, terms and conditions and restrictions.
Duties & accountabilities - Actively contribute to client engagements for business process mapping and requirement workshops.
- Work with clients to define the optimal future state operational process and related product configuration.
- Manage scope by providing innovative solutions, challenging new client requirements and change requests, and ensuring clients receive the required business value.
- Assist in creating documents for all business process mapping deliverables, including models, output reports, processes, and configuration sets
- Develop and deliver clearly defined requirements documents to minimize subsequent change requests.
- Work closely with the product design and development team to analyze and design functional enhancements.
- Provide onsite product consultancy and assist clients with acceptance criteria gathering and support throughout the project life cycle.
- Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems or opportunities, which may include process improvement, systems enhancement, or user training.
- Function as a liaison to business and IT teams, both internally and externally, to communicate a clear understanding of business requirements and solutions.
- Map and document client business processes against IM products by gathering 'as is' operational information and creating 'to be' business processes.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all internal & external client stakeholders.
- Ability to elicit requirements, identify solutions and complete requirement documentation.
- Ability to define intelligent solutions and manage client expectations clearly.
- Ability to take ownership of a client from initiation to go live, including business process mapping, requirements analysis, user acceptance testing, and go-live support.
- Understand the underlying business, implementation, and product usage of assigned clients.
- Delivery-focused with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Share business knowledge with all members of the implementation team and the wider organization when required.
- Provide assistance and business expertise to the support team and QA team in verifying client-reported and internally raised issues.
- T Travel is required.
Education and experience - Hold at least a bachelor's degree (B.E / MCA / Degree in Finance/ MBA etc.)
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of post-trade securities, including trade flow, trade participants, intermediaries, and corporate action processes, including the complete corporate actions life cycle, preferably gained through a professional services or implementation role.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization, including written, verbal, and visual communications.
- Experience with industry-standard interfaces, such as ISO 20022, MT 56X, and MT 54X messages.
- Understanding and experience with the agile software development process and overall project life cycle.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is
$85,0000 to $110,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
