Summary

Job Title: ETL Testing Automation Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL Testing Automation Lead to drive quality assurance initiatives for data integration and warehousing projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL testing, automation frameworks, and data validation, along with leadership experience in managing QA teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end ETL testing activities for data warehouse and data migration projects.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for ETL/data validation.
Validate data across source and target systems to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Work closely with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and transformations.
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for ETL workflows.
Perform data reconciliation, data quality checks, and regression testing.
Identify, track, and resolve defects in collaboration with development teams.
Mentor and guide QA team members; provide technical leadership.
Ensure adherence to best practices in data testing and automation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

12+ years of experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.
Strong experience in SQL for complex data validation and querying.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or DataStage.
Expertise in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Python-based frameworks, or custom ETL automation tools).
Experience with data validation tools such as QuerySurge or similar.
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema, OLAP).
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with version control tools like Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
