Summary

Exciting Senior Software, Backend opportunity with an established firm.
Contract Duration: 10 months - 100% remote opportunity. May extend to 12 months.
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years programming experience, ideally on a modern stack
Our core stack is Java/ Kotlin/ Spring / PostgreSQL/ React, and we run on Kubernetes in a service oriented architecture with over 100 services in production
3+ years Java or Kotlin programming experience
A solid understanding of relational databases and ORMs Experience working on a SOA or microservice-based application.
Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion
Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests View Unit and Integration test as 1st class citizen in software development
Desire to grow, learn and collaborate with a team of engineers.

Desired Skills & Experience
Full-stack experience, either toward systems (kafka, temporal, docker, posix), databases (postgres), or front-end (javascript/typescript, react)
Financial Services is a plus

Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
