Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join a high-performing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise data solutions using Snowflake. This role involves building scalable data pipelines, modernizing legacy data platforms, implementing robust data models, and integrating cloud-based data solutions for large-scale analytics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize enterprise data solutions using Snowflake.
  • Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to migrate data from legacy platforms into Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain efficient SQL, PL/SQL, and Python-based data processing solutions.
  • Implement robust data models, schema designs, and transformation logic for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Integrate and manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data within Snowflake.
  • Develop integrations using Snowflake REST APIs and support enterprise data workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data architects, analysts, and data scientists.
  • Optimize query performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve overall data platform efficiency.
  • Support data warehouse modernization initiatives and ensure data quality, governance, and scalability.
  • Contribute to best practices for cloud data engineering, automation, and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
  • Experience with Snowflake REST API integration.
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Python development.
  • Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica or Talend.
  • Experience with enterprise data migration and modernization projects.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including DB2 or similar platforms.
  • Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Experience supporting machine learning data integration is a plus.
