We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Software Engineer to join our software R&D team and help build innovative products and features that empower users to efficiently produce and print specialized appliances on-premises. In this role, you will collaborate with technical leaders to design, build, and enhance scalable platforms, microservice orchestrations, IoT workflows, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior technical leaders to design, build, and enhance core software platforms, including microservice orchestration, micro-frontend and IoT workflows, and related cloud infrastructure.
  • Contribute senior-level design and hands-on implementation across user experiences, product scalability, and manufacturing pipelines, including AI and algorithm integration layers connecting native applications to cloud computing.
  • Drive assigned features and services end-to-end-covering requirements, design, implementation, and observability-within our cloud compute architecture and device software.
  • Drive the technical evolution of digital manufacturing technologies from initial scan to final application, applying cutting-edge capabilities to the field.
  • Improve the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of deployed services through proactive monitoring, root-cause analysis, and incident response.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, cross-disciplinary engineering teams, and global stakeholders to shape technical solutions and direction.
  • Maintain a high personal standard for code scalability, testability, and operational excellence while driving advanced AI workflows.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (graduate degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating cloud distributed systems, IoT systems, or large-scale compute services.
  • Strong proficiency in modern software engineering with experience across languages such as JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, C#, and/or C++.
  • Deep, hands-on experience with major cloud providers (such as AWS) including serverless and containerized workloads, event-driven architectures, and services like Lambda, Fargate, EC2, and S3.
  • Experience with distributed systems design, applied cryptography fundamentals, and microservices deployment utilizing automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven track record of independently delivering, scaling, and supporting production services with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and cost awareness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
Preferred
  • Experience working in regulated industries, such as medical devices or healthcare.
  • Experience collaborating within global, cross-functional engineering teams.
