Proven experience defining business, solution, and information architecture from concept through solution delivery for enterprise software solutions
Broad knowledge of technology standards, application development environments, middleware components, infrastructure and security requirements and implications in the delivery of scientific solutions, and the ability to leverage all of the above to architect and deliver impactful technical solutions to meet scientific business requirements
Technical thought leadership and sound understanding of the technology trends and application landscape both internally at Merck and externally in the industry
Understanding of IT processes, SDLC methodologies, and knowledge of the regulatory landscape, with preference for experience in delivering and supporting validated systems; knowledge of GxP regulations and compliance requirements
Practical experience applying enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and the Zachman Framework to IT programs, as well as use of architecture toolsets (e.g., Enterprise Architect)
Expertise in business requirements analysis and gap identification
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and depth in emerging data technologies and industry trends
Collaborate with and guide the technical engineers assigned to multiple squads within the product
Contribute to developing accurate and realistic project plans, resource estimates, and timelines in alignment with prioritized business requirements
Ensure all systems are designed, built, and operated in a compliant manner and promote the effective use of IT standards and tools.
