This position is contingent upon contract award and position availability. Selected candidates will receive a contingent offer of employment, which will become final only upon successful contract award to Maximus, availability of the position, and receipt of authorization to proceed.

This role is onsite, five days a week, and requires a TS/SCI security clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:




- Lead technical planning, coordination, and execution of Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems (IDCS) engineering efforts aligned with DoD mission objectives.

- Develop and manage integrated technical execution plans, dependency tracking, and risk mitigation strategies across architecture, development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

- Ensure technical solutions comply with cybersecurity standards, architectural guidance, and contractual technical requirements.

- Apply Agile and DevSecOps methodologies to improve engineering coordination, solution quality, and delivery velocity.

- Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams to ensure system integration, architectural alignment, and mission readiness.

- Monitor and report technical performance metrics, service level objectives (SLOs), and solution health indicators.

- Prepare and present technical execution status briefings, integration updates, and risk assessments to senior leadership and government stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

TCS173, P5, Band 8

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:




- Bachelor's degree (preferred in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related technical field).

- Minimum 10 years in technology delivery, systems integration, or technical program execution.

- At least 5 years supporting federal government programs.

- Proven success coordinating large-scale, multi-vendor technical initiatives or system integrations.

- Must possess at least one of the following certifications:

- CompTIA Security+

- CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP

- CISM, CISA

- GSLC, CCISO

- PMP, PgMP

- AgilePM, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)

- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)

- Experience managing and overseeing technical execution of cybersecurity or complex IT programs, preferably within DoD or federal environments.

- Strong technical background in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or cloud-based architectures.

- Experience providing technical guidance and direction to engineering teams across multiple projects.

- Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and Agile methodologies.

- Experience supporting DevSecOps pipelines and cloud deployment architectures.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Ability to manage technical risk, integration challenges, and system alignment to enterprise objectives.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience with USAF cyber or technical execution governance environments.

- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, cloud-native platforms, and digital transformation initiatives.

- Demonstrated ability to improve engineering integration efficiency and technical delivery outcomes.

- Experience coordinating technical transition planning, subcontractor technical performance, and cross-functional integration.

- Ability to translate technical execution risks into actionable insights for government leadership.
