Summary

A rapidly growing AI-focused digital consultancy is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join its advanced analytics practice. This full-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging business problems using machine learning, statistical modeling, and cloud-based data platforms. The team leverages technologies including Python, Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, Snowflake, Tableau, and SQL to build impactful solutions for enterprise clients.

This position offers the chance to work on high-visibility initiatives where data science directly influences business outcomes. The ideal candidate enjoys building models, collaborating with stakeholders, and translating technical insights into strategic recommendations. Beyond technical ownership, this role provides exposure to client-facing consulting, emerging AI technologies, and opportunities to shape the future direction of data-driven decision making.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, or related fields
Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SAS
Advanced SQL development and optimization experience
Experience deploying machine learning solutions in cloud environments
Expertise in regression, classification, clustering, and statistical modeling
Experience presenting technical insights to business stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Desired Skills & Experience

Databricks experience
Azure Machine Learning expertise
Snowflake experience
Tableau or Power BI visualization skills
Consulting, digital agency, or marketing analytics background
Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services
Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
