AI Platform Engineer

Job Title: AI Platform Engineer

Location: Addison, TX / Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale an internal, on-premise AI ecosystem. This role focuses on developing a Model-as-a-Service platform that enables multiple teams to build and deploy AI solutions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable AI/ML platforms for enterprise use

• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines (chunking, embeddings, vector databases)

• Build tools, libraries, and frameworks for AI/LLM integration

• Manage large-scale GPU-based infrastructure (NVIDIA)

• Develop Agentic AI solutions and reusable components

• Integrate AI workflows with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Ansible)

• Ensure compliance, governance, and secure AI deployments

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Python

• Expertise in RAG, LLMs, vector databases

• Experience in platform engineering / MLOps / AI infrastructure

• Strong background in data engineering & pipelines

• Experience with on-prem / hybrid cloud environments

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD)

• Exposure to GPU, distributed systems, or HPC environments

Experience:

• 10 15+ years of experience in building scalable platforms

• Experience with large-scale AI/ML systems preferred
