Overview:
A highly successful AI startup that recently completed its Series A funding round is seeking a senior-level AI professional to act as a technical leader . This is a high-impact, client-facing role requiring both strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical lead deployed at a top hedge fund client located in Hudson Yards
  • Manage and mentor a team of 4 AI Engineers onsite
  • Oversee AI deployment, implementation, and ongoing optimization in a high-stakes financial environment
  • Act as the key liaison between the AI company and senior stakeholders at the hedge fund
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership while contributing to architecture and problem-solving
  • Navigate complex client environments with professionalism and strong communication

Requirements:

  • Deep experience in AI/ML deployment in production environments
  • Proven team management experience
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience in the financial industry (hedge fund preferred)
  • Alternatively, strong experience from a top-tier technology company will be considered
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Hudson Yards
  • Knowledge of Agentic AI

8-12 years experience.
