As a Reliability Engineer for the Wireless Design group, you will be responsible for driving all reliability requirements across multiple Wireless vendors. You will apply your expertise to review all reliability test plans and audit the reliability tests at the vendor labs. This role will also include leading failure analysis, root cause understanding of the failure and analyzing field exposure risk in the event of a failure.

Review all vendor REL test plans during product life cycle.\nEnsure that silicon/package qualification test requirements are met across all wireless vendors.\nAudit domestic and international vendor sites on a periodic basis. In the event of a reliability failure, drive failure analysis at vendor.\nAssess field risks through statistical analysis of reliability failure rate.\nPosition requires domestic and international travel.

BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to balance multiple projects at the same time.\nCollaborative attitude and ability to work effectively cross-functionally.\nAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

PhD is highly desirable for this role.\nExperience defining reliability tests, executing reliability tests and assessing reliability performance.\nExpertise in auditing vendor sites for REL tests.\nAbility to drive vendors for DOE/FA.\nIn-depth knowledge in performing risk assessment.\nSolid understanding of industry test Standards (JEDEC, IEEE).\nExperience working in a fast-paced engineering environment utilizing real time crisis management skills.\nStrong analytical and communication skills are required.\nExperience in Consumer Electronics.\nIndividual needs to be self-motivated, detail oriented and possess the ability to clearly articulate issues.
