Job Opportunity: Infrastructure Solutions Architect 5

Key Responsibilities

• Data Integration & Modeling: Coordinate and integrate system data models to promote data sharing, eliminate redundancy, and ensure efficient use of state data resources.

• Project Planning: Provide technical advice to the Project Manager to assist in the development of project plans.

• Data Governance: Coordinate with data stewards to develop, communicate, and enforce Data Classification policies and standards.

• Metadata Management: Create and maintain a metadata repository, including formal descriptions of data, data structures, and data flow diagrams.

• System Design: Create, maintain, and verify system-level designs.

• Data Standards: Define and enforce standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, quality, and usability through established security and management practices.

• Architectural Models: Develop an Information Architecture Model that supports and remains consistent with Enterprise Information Management.

• Statewide Modeling: Develop and maintain a statewide data model to ensure integrated use across all applications.

• Configuration Management: Develop and manage configuration management standards, processes, and policies.

• Security Compliance: Document application controls required to meet security standards.

• Interoperability: Ensure data integration with internal organizations as well as external business and IT communities.

• Problem Resolution: Evaluate and recommend software fixes to resolve technical issues.
